Preparing Students and Educators for the Future
You'll find a broad range of Scholarship Learning Company services focused on preparing college-bound students to compete for college admissions and scholarship competitions. We offer multiple programs for schools, organizations, parents and students.
For parents and students
Seminars SLC's seminar provides a thorough overview of the process and shows educators, parents and students how to avoid beginner mistakes when applying for scholarships. SLC's seminars are presented throughout the year. Check our upcoming schedules
Application Review SLC provides comprehensive reviews of college admissions applications and scholarship applications based on our long experience. We can pinpoint strengths and weaknesses in an application, suggest content and stylistic changes and work hand-in-hand with students to present the most competitive application possible.
For institutions and organizations
Seminars SLC provides a comprehensive 2-hour seminar that has won awards and rave reviews from the twenty school districts in Minnesota that have contracted with SLC. The seminar provides students with an immersion into how scholarship competitions work and how to win.
Workshops SLC runs workshops for high school and college counselors seeking to help students develop powerful and competitive scholarship applications. The workshop uses SLC's proprietary archive of actual scholarship applications and breaks apart real scholarship applications to show what works and what doesn't.
Academic Year Planning SLC partners with educational institutions to help develop lectures and seminars throughout the academic year for both parents and students. By working with our partners, SLC can help keep parents and students one step ahead of important scholarship and financial aid deadlines and ensure that students have adequate time and resources to compete for scholarship money.
